🔎 Step One: Research in your network

💡 Once you gain access to the list of open roles, review their descriptions and consider if any of the roles would be a good fit for someone you know or anyone in your network!

- Is anyone on your LinkedIn (or any other social media platform) currently looking for a tech job?
- Engineering candidates in your network Finding engineering candidates with startup experience is always a plus! 😉
- You never know which candidates may be passively open to exploring other roles. Reach out to the best candidates in your network even if they’re currently working at a company!
- Do you know anyone personally looking for a different tech role?
- Do your friends know of anyone who might be looking for a tech role?
- Do you know any potential candidates from your previous experience as a recruiter?
If the answer is “YES” to any of the above, use this opportunity to connect with them. You never know where your conversations could lead, and chances are they're on the lookout for a new or better job opportunity that just might be here on Paraform! It is important to do your due diligence when referring a candidate. Only submit candidates who fit all of the referral requirements.

- (FREE) Reach out to those who’ve been laid off from their job. You can find them by entering keywords in the LinkedIn search bar and then clicking “Posts.”
Keywords: Layoffs, Lay Off, or Laid off, etc.
You can also reach those who’ve been laid off using the website called [Layoffs.FYI](<https://layoffs.fyi/>). This site will give you a list of companies and the list of workers that have been laid off.
